Partners and Sponsors

Each year more and more studies around the world are showing the effectiveness of Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) programs. As a result, more and more services, families and schools are looking for equine assisted programs for the children in their care. Sadly, the cost of those programs is out of the reach of many of the children that would benefit the most.

OUR MISSION: In partnership with horses, we provide accessible opportunities for personal development and mental wellness to people of all ages, in a confidential, inclusive and empowering environment.

OUR VISION: With the assistance of the non-judgemental horse, we aim to provide experiential learning that is accessible, regular and affordable, moving beyond talking and reading by turning words into actions. We use these actions to initiate and further advance confidence, empowerment, self-awareness, self-regulation, personal safety, relationships, and stress and anger management skills, that help support those who experience anxiety, depression, suicide, domestic violence and other mental health conditions to find sustainable solutions.

AT HORSES AND HUMANS WE VALUE a structured high standard of ethical and professional practice with a qualified and experienced team, who demonstrate a broad set of life experiences and skills with both horses and humans. We are grateful to be working with a number of horses who each bring their individual personalities and attributes to the programs.

Below is a list of providers who complement our vision, mission and values and with whom we have partnered to bring you an exquisite selection of programs. (Links open in new tabs.)

The Eagala Model is so effective because it embraces the science that humans learn best by doing. The model prescribes a hands-on approach where clients are given the space to project and analyze their situations, make connections, and find their own solutions.
Since the solutions are personally experienced in conjunction with intellectual understanding, they tend to be deeper, more profound, and longer lasting.
